Manager

Our Client is looking for an experienced and motivated Operations Manager to strengthen our team. In this role you will be responsible for leading and managing the day-to-day operations of one of our facilities, ensuring that production targets are met and operations are efficient and effective. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve operational issues, improve processes and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day operations of the facility including production, quality and maintenance
Lead and motivate a team of production and support staff to achieve production goals
Identify and resolve operational issues and implement process improvements as needed
Develop and manage operational budgets and ensure costs are controlled and operations are financially efficient
Ensure operations are performed in accordance with relevant safety and quality standards
Work with cross-functional teams including engineering, supply chain and customer service to ensure operational goals are met
Communicate operational performance and key initiatives to senior management
Develop and implement training programs for production personnel to improve skills and knowledge

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management or a related field At least 5 years of operations management experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment Strong leadership and interpersonal skills Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication and analytical skills Knowledge of Lean and/or Six Sigma methods is an advantage If you’re a results-driven professional with a passion for operations management and a commitment to delivering quality results, we want to hear from you!
